The wait is over as e-commerce company Amazon India has officially announced the date of the annual festival sale a.k.a “The Great Indian Festival Sale”. The festive sale will be commencing from 10 October 2018, the same day as Flipkart’s “The Big Billion Days” sale and will go on till October 15, 2018. The two e-commerce companies will be battling out this festive season by offering discounts and new launches across various segment and categories.
The company has announced big deals and discounts on a range of products across various categories including gadgets, Led TVs, electronic appliances, clothing, kitchenware etc. Unlike Flipkart, Amazon festival sale will last for six days and will be open for all the categories from the first day itself. Amazon’s prime members will be able to access the deals and offer earlier than normal customers.
The e-commerce company has tied up with State bank of India (SBI) to provide 10 percent instant discount for debit card users. Amazon pay users will get the benefit of Rs. 300 on loading their wallet with Rs. 3000 or more.
Under the sale, Amazon will offer customers various deals on smartphones, home appliances, televisions, kitchen products, fashion, grocery, beauty, consumer electronics and more.
The Great Indian Festival Sale will also provide regular and limited period discounts and offers in the form of Lightning Deals. Just in case if you are a new user on Amazon then Lightning deals will be a limited period offer on a selected range of products. This kind of sale usually works like a Flash sale where you need to complete the payment within a limited period of time.
The e-commerce company will also provide a wide range of products at a discount price at this year’s Great Indian Festival Sale. The company has also listed out huge promotional offers which include discount od LED TVs & appliances, up to 55 percent off on electronics and many more during the festive sale.
Flipkart’s Big billion Days Sale is being sponsored by Mastercards as HDFC Bank is the exclusive partner for their sale. Although customers will be able to avail an extra 10 percent discounts using HDFC debit and credit cards, itis possible that Flipkart may give some offers to Mastercard holders also.
Throughout the sale period, Amazon will offer customers with no-cost purchasing products with Bajaj Finserv, ICICI, HDFC, and Axis bank EMI options. The e-commerce website is also offering EMI on debit with instant approval facility. During the festive sale, Amaz0n are going to run a contest for its users where they can win prize value of around 5,00,000. Apart from the “Jackpot” contest, will also run “Golden Hour Deals” from 8 PM to midnight every day with around 60 percent off.
They are also providing a discount of up to Rs. 3,500 on all Amazon speakers during the sale period. Whereas Jabra and Bose Smart speakers powered by Alexa are up for grabs with discounts of up to 60 percent.
The Great Indian Festival Sale is probably the best time to purchase Amazon’s own products. This year, the company is claiming that it will offer discounts, exchange offers, no cost EMI options, and many more deals. Amazon global store will also avail discounts of 40 percent. customers will be offered discounts and offer on Amazon products like Echo smart speakers, Fire TV Stick, and Kindle ebook readers.
